An assistant coach with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League says he’s anxious for a return visit to Dryden.
Bruce Ramsay is among the guest speakers at the Hometown Proud Fundraising Dinner and Auction on July 26th.
Ramsay played hockey in Dryden until his third year of Midget and he says one of his favourite memories was playing outside after the Arena fire.
He remembers soaking his feet in warm weather because it was so cold.
Ramsay believes the arena renovations need to be done and he notes Dryden seems to be behind it.
He adds he will do what he can to help.
