National recognition for Bryce Young of the Red Lake Miners.
The 18-year-old first year player has been named Canadian Junior Hockey League’s Third Star for the month of October.
In ten outings last month, Young had points in all but one game, finishing with a league-best 16 goals and 11 assists.
Two of his tallies were game-winners and he produced nine multi-point games.
Young also led the SIJHL in power play goals with six and short handed goals with two.
