Budget passes

It will take nearly $24 Million to run the business we know as the Corporation of the City of Dryden for 2003.
City Council passed the ’03 Operating & Capital Budgets Monday & taxes are going up as a result.
The hike will be minor though, 1.35% for homeowners & 2.9% for businesses.
Outside agencies such as the KDSB are still to be heard from but if more money is needed, the City will dip into the reserve account rather than hit citizens with another increase.
