The City of Dryden issued 79-building permits, totaling $6.3-million
last year, the second lowest total in 10-years.
However, Chief Building Official Bob Cunningham says construction activity in Dryden appears
to have stabilized over the past few years after a miserable 2004.
The City issued 65 permits in 2004.
Cunningham says the 2007 construction season is expected to be
similar to last year’s.
He adds the Dryden numbers are consistant with other Municipalities in the area.
