Buses Cancelled; Schools and Roads Open

Buses aren’t running across much of our broadcast area today. (Tuesday)
School bus service has been cancelled in Dryden, Ear Falls, Red Lake, Vermilion Bay, Ignace, Sioux Lookout, Hudson, Wabigoon and Eagle Lake First Nation.
All schools remain open.
Major Highway’s are also open, however extreme caution is urged.
OPP say the heavy snow and icy conditions has made driving extremely treacherous.
Air travel has also been impacted.
Anyone scheduled to fly out or anyone expecting an in-coming flight is asked to contact the air carrier.
CKDR Meteorologist Bill Laidlaw says the Region has seen a total of 15-centimetres over a 12-hour period.
In 7-hours, Red Lake has been hit with 13-centimetres of snow.
Another 15-centimetres could fall again by the end of the day today.
