Business Centre Launches New Assistance Program

The Northwest Business Center says there is a new program that local entrepreneurs can tap into.

Allyson Pele says its called a Grand Opportunity.

“This program provides businesses with a grant of up to $1,000 towards one-time professional marketing services that will aid their businesses in recovery,” says Pele, “Successful applicants will gain direct one on one business council from a marketing strategist at Wake Marketing.”

She explains that businesses in the Kenora and Rainy River Districts can apply.

“Participation in this program will empower businesses to adapt and effectively market themselves in the ongoing post-COVID economy. These programs are for business who want to explore their entire business and marketing strategy and build a plan in order to move themselves forward.”

Pele adds that the program is 100% funded through the Government of Ontario and will be delivered on behalf of the Northwest Business Centre.

The Business Center says applicants must be registered for-profit businesses in operation since before January of 2020.
