Business Partnership Supporting Indigenous Entrepreneurs

The Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business and Hydro One are partnering to support Indigenous owned businesses.

Businesses that are majority owned and controlled by an Indigenous Canadian are encouraged to apply to one of two grants by September 13.

Twenty lucky recipients will be awarded a $2,500 grant and a CCAB membership through a lottery draw.

Eight recipients will receive a $7,500 grant and a membership.

These businesses will be selected through a jury review process.

The partnership is part of Hydro One’s commitment to ensure 20% of its community investments are directed to First Nations communities.
