The Dryden Eagles take on the top team in Boys High School Hockey
Friday night.
The Blue and Gold are in Fort Frances to face the Muskies.
Eagles Co-Coach Darryl Mosseau says he’s confident heading into the
game following a tight contest a week ago.
Puck-Drop is 7:30 and CKDR will have the call at 7:15.
In Dryden, the Kathy Sanders Memorial Girls Hockey Tournament starts
Friday morning at the Dryden Arena.
Teams from more then 8-communities will compete the next 3 days in
5-divisions.
In Red Lake, the start of the Northwestern Ontario District Men’s
Curling playdowns is Friday morning.
16 rinks, including 3 from Red Lake, are vying for a spot in the
provincial finals.
All of the action this weekend is at the Campbell Curling Club.
Sioux Lookout is hosting an atom hockey tournament with teams from Red Lake, Atikokan, Ignace and Sioux Lookout participating.
The first game is 6 Friday night.
