The provincial government says it’s spending over $78-million this summer to fix up highways and bridges across northwestern Ontario.
That includes reconstructing and re-paving a 31-kilometre portion of Highway 105 north of Vermilion Bay at a cost of $15.4-million.
A 31-kilometre section of Highway 17 west of Ignace is also due to be re-paved.
That project is expected to come in at about $7.8-million.
Miller Northwest Limited won the contract for both jobs.
