Ongoing opposition to a proposed Highway 17 bypass may have paid off
for the City of Dryden.
The final draft of the McCormick-Rankin study has been completed and
is now at City Hall and the Library for public input.
The report indicates a Bypass will not be built anytime soon.
City Manager Arie Hoogenboom says local residents have 30-days to
comment on the document.
Municipal officials are still asking Dryden residents to voice their
opposition to the bypass.
