“Byway Babes” Paddling To Fight Cystic Fibrosis

A cross-country canoe trip for three ladies, all in support of fighting Cystic Fibrosis.

The “Byway Babes” are in the Dryden area after starting their venture in British Columbia.

Kendra Hurley says they are raising money and awareness because of one of their paddlers has the disease and is currently in hospital in Winnipeg.

Rylea McEvoy says treatment for Cystic Fibrosis is improving quickly, so every dollar counts.

Hurley says the trip has been really amazing so far, noting they have met so many people who are eager and generous to help.

She adds to see Canada from coast-to-coast has been an incredible experience.
