CAA Is Looking For Your Old Car Batteries

Finally a good use for your old car batteries.
The Canadian Automobile Association is accepting them for the annual “Great Battery Roundup”.
People can drop them off until June 7th at T.J’s Auto Value.
Batteries can be dropped off Monday to Friday from 8:00-5:00 and Saturday from 9:00-12:00.
CAA Spokesperson Korey Kennedy says the batteries will be recycled and all proceeds will go to Trees Ontario, to support their annual tree planting event.
When transporting the batteries, Kennedy recommends wearing gloves and safety glasses, as well as keeping them upright in a plastic, leak-proof container.
