Thunder Bay MP and Women’s Minister Patty Hajdu is promising to launch a new strategy aimed at ending violence against women.
Hajdu says she will be working with provincial and territorial colleagues to determine the specifics of the plan.
She notes violence against women is a socio-economic issue.
