Ministry of Transportation and Environment Officials had to do some mopping up after a calcium chloride spill on Highway 105 last Tuesday.
OPP say the incident occurred about 10km north of Vermilion Bay when the driver of a transport noticed his cargo was leaking.
Police say 11,000 litres of the non-toxic chloride covered the Highway which forced the closure of the road for a short period of time.
The chemical posed no threat to the public or the environment.
