Call for Twinning of Highway 17

The Manitoba Trucking Association is the latest group to call for the twinning of Highway 17 after a fiery crash that killed 2 people near Kenora.
A 58-year-old Winnipeg man had just passed a transport on the road over the weekend when he collided with an oncoming semi.
The incident happened just after a bend on a straightaway in a no-passing zone.
The group says this region has some of the roughest terrain around.
