A day after being nominated for the Most Sportsmanlike Player award
in the Ontario Hockey League, Sioux Lookout’s Ryan Parent has received
another honor.
Parent will Captain Team Canada at the World Under 18-Hockey
Championship in the Czech Republic.
The tournament starts April 14th as Canada faces Germany.
The Guelph Storm Defenceman was Captain of the Ontario Team that won the 2004 Under-17 World Challenge in St. John’s. and guided Canada to an Under-18 World Cup title.
