Call Made For Reinstatment Of Ranger Program

Pressure is being put on the provincial government to bring back the Ontario Ranger program.
Hundreds of former participants will rally tomorrow in Huntsville as part of lobby efforts
Spokesperson Emily Kerton says they are hoping to secure a meeting with the government to discuss ways of bringing back the program.
Kerton says they’ve had support from municipalities across the north and the province.
The province eliminated the 68-year-old Ranger Program and its camps last fall.
