Call Made to Have November 11th a Holiday

Progressive Conservative MPP Lisa MacLeod will introduce a
private member’s bill to designate November 11th as a holiday.
The bill would also require every school in Ontario to hold a
Remembrance Day service on the last day of classes before November 11th.
She says it would replace Ontario’s “Family Day” holiday in
February.
