Another call for tougher gun laws in Canada, this time from the victims of gun violence in the country.
Spokesperson Heidi Rathjen says the Trudeau Liberals have done nothing about the issue since being elected two years ago.
She says legal guns continue to be misused by people who should not have them, stressing red flags continue to be ignored.
Rathjen adds in many cases when police compensate guns, courts are quick to give them back.
She says over the past two years, Canadians have witnessed many tragedies committed with a gun, deaths that could have been prevented.
Rathjen notes that although various weapons were banned in 1995, the law was meant to be changed as new guns hit the market, but never was.
