Camp Owners Association Make Investment In Protecting Natural Resources

The Kenora District Camp Owners Association is making a financial commitment to preserve our natural resources for the future.

The Association has made a $5,000 donation to the Eagle Lake Farabout Peninsula Coalition.

The money will support conservation efforts to protect the peninsula from logging.

The Coalition, with help from area fishing lodges, continues to promote the protection of fish spawning areas and eco-tourism around the Farabout Peninsula.

The Association says the joint effort provides a template for the future of tourism in the Kenora district.
