Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell says she’s pleased to see the budget pass.
Campbell and the rest of the NDP abstained from voting to allow the fiscal document to go through.
Campbell says people didn’t want to see an election but notes amendments were needed.
She notes the passed budget is better than the one that was introduced in April.
Included in the budget is $20-million for Northern and rural health care.
Campbell notes one area the NDP didn’t succeed in is halting the privatization of Service Ontario.
