8-men have been fined over $3,000 for setting up an illegal camp north of Kenora.
Last September, conservation officers were given a tip about a camp site just off the Werner Lake Road.
During their investigation, officers discovered a large metal structure and a shed, that had been set up for at least 10 years.
Two men, who were at the site were found to be fishing without licences.
Seven men from Winnipeg and one from Calgary have been fined $150 for setting up a camp on crown land for longer than 21 days.
They have also been ordered to remove the campsite and all their gear before June of this year.
