Canada’s big party is just over a week away!
150 celebrations will be held across the country on July 1st and everything in Dryden is happening at Van Horne Landing and the Victoria Dock.
The Kiwanis Club is once again organizing activities and Suzanne Jolly-Cesiunas was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Thursday to talk about community events.
Jolly-Cesiunas says there will be a flag raising ceremony at 11:00am as well as live entertainment from 12:00pm until 9:00pm, with fireworks to follow.
The day will start with the popular pancake breakfast at the Royal Canadian Legion.
Other features include kids activities and a Car and Truck Show.
Jolly-Cesiunas adds to celebrate Canada’s special birthday, they will be hosting activities on Sunday, July 2nd under the big tent at the Kiwanis Club headquarters near Van Horne Landing.
There will be a kids karaoke contest and an open mic session for adults.
