The Ministry of Natural Resources in the Northwest
District is going into the Canada Day long weekend, with a
low fire hazard.
Information Officer Debbie McLean says although the
hazard is low, residents should take precautions when
enjoying an open fire.

battled 197 blazes since the start of the fire season.
