Canada broke out of its scoring slump at the World Men’s Under-18
Hockey Championship with a 15-1 win over Denmark Monday morning.
After scoring just three goals in two games to open the
tournament, the 2-1 Canadians poured the puck past the Danish
goaltenders, scoring five goals in the second period and eight in
the third.
Sioux Lookout’s Ryan Parent failed to register a point but the
Captain was on the ice for a majority of Canada’s goals.
Thunder Bay’s Thomas Pyatt registered a goal.
The National team will hit the ice Tuesday morning against Russia.
