Canadian Hearing Society Contract Ratified

A new contract has been ratified by unionized members of the Canadian Hearing Society.

Some 230 staff, including a handful who work in northwestern Ontario, are set to return to the job Monday.

The Canadian Union of Public Employees says the deal includes retroactive wage increases and a short-term disability program.

The collective agreement ends a nine week-old strike.
