Kenora will be playing host to 21 olympic gold medal winners this summer.
Canada’s national women’s hockey team has announced it will
be holding its annual training camp at the Kenora Rec. Center from September 2nd to 10th.
Barry Reynard is the City’s Community Services manager and
says they hope to make a small profit on the event.

Winnipeg and Selkirk, Manitoba will be hosting the World Women’s Hockey Championships in March of 2007 and the
training camp in Kenora will be used to help select the team.
As many as 60 players are expected to attend the week long
camp.
