Cancer Care Northwest Out With Report

Cancer Care Northwest has made improvements to its colorectal cancer programs.
That’s one area of improvement in a Province-wide cancer index.
Patients are getting diagnosed earlier and colon cancer survival rates have dramatically improved.
However, wait times for treatment continue to be below the Provincial level.
Power says they’ll address areas of improvement in all cancer programs in their first regional cancer plan that will be released on June 24th.
