Fort Frances City Councilor Tanis Drysdale is looking
for support for her study on the pro’s and con’s of
Northwestern Ontario joining Manitoba.
Drysdale has already received the go-ahead on her
project from the Kenora District Municipal Association,
and Rainy River District Municipal Association.
Kenora Mayor Dave Canfield says it can’t hurt to examine
the region’s options.

A representative from each municipal association will
sit on the committee to study the benefits of joining
Manitoba.
Drysdale’s next stop is the Thunder Bay Municipal League.
