Canoe Contest Continues in Atikokan

A dozen submissions have been received in a contest aimed at promoting Atikokan’s proclamation as the Canoeing Capital of Canada.
An extension to the deadline brought in 9 submissions last month to the 3 received in August.
Paula Sanders of the Atikokan Economic Development Corporation says a Committee has been formed to review the submissions.
The best three will be eligible for funding to help develop and market their products.
