The Province’s Minister of Transportation has made a pledge that she will work
closely with Dryden to address priority needs.
Donna Cansfield was in the CityFfriday to inspect the OPP Car Seat
program.
When asked about funding for the 5-laning of Highway 17 through Dryden,
Cansfield stressed the project isn’t dead.

Cansfield notes the needs in the North are unique and she wants to
take more time touring the Region and meeting with stakeholders to determine
what needs to be done to enhance the transportation network.
