Haul out your ice auger, tip ups, and bait and get ready
for a free family fishing weekend.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is encouraging people
to get out on the frozen lakes this winter, by offering
two days of licence free fishing February 23rd and 24th.
Minister Donna Cansfield says the initiative is in its
second year, and they hope to continue it on a yearly
basis.

Anyone fishing licence-free this weekend must follow the
