Capacity Limits Lifted For Outdoor Events

The Ford government continues to ease COVID restrictions.

Full capacity at large-scale organized outdoor events is now allowed.

The move comes on the heels of potential Remembrance Day ceremonies and Santa Claus parades.

Masks will remain mandatory when a physical distance of two metres cannot be kept.

Ski hills and other outdoor recreational facilities can operate without capacity limits, as can festivals, fairs and rural exhibitions.

Proof-of-vaccination will be required in outdoor settings where the capacity is 20,000 or more.

Outdoor social gatherings will continue to be capped at 100 people.
