Capital Wishlist Released to Council

92-projects are included in the first draft of the 2010 City of Dryden Capital Budget.
The total cost of the work is $41-million, with the City responsible for $6.6-million of the costs.
Some of the proposed projects include, upgrades to City Hall, a new Police Prisoner Van, replacement of storm sewer culverts, Duke Street Bridge reconstruction, the replacement of the Zamboni, Sandy Beach Bank Stabilization and the replacement of the washroom and fence at the site.
Other projects on the list are safety cameras at the river walkway, reconstruction of Myrtle Avenue, Tennis Courts at Rotary Park, new Welcome signs at the City Entranceways, paving the Taxi at the Dryden Airport and the installation of a climbing wall at the Rec Centre.
Council is going over the document with a fine tooth comb and will report back to staff at the December 7th meeting.
