The provincial government is working on a growth plan for northern Ontario.
Infrastructure minister David Caplan and Northern Development and Mines minister Rick Bartolucci met with municipal leaders across northern Ontario yesterday to talk about how this region can grow and prosper economically.
Caplan says even though northern Ontario is a large region, he feels they can create a growth plan that will benefit all communities.

Caplan says they hope to come up with a draft plan in about six months and get more feedback from local business, municipal and aboriginal leaders before moving ahead with it.
