Carbon Monoxide Alarms Could Save Your Life

The Dryden Fire Service is stressing the importance of carbon monoxide alarms.
Last week, crews responded to two separate alarms, with one of the residents feeling the signs of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Acting Fire Chief Ken Kurz says many people may mistake it for something else.
He notes normally it starts off with flu like symptoms, and depending how much carbon monoxide you’re taking in, the effects can feel intensified.
Carbon monoxide is odourless, tasteless and colourless, and Kurz recommends installing an alarm on every floor of the home, especially outside bedrooms.
