Another reminder to install carbon monoxide detectors on every floor of your home.
The reminder follows a scare at a Dryden home earlier today.
The Dryden Fire Service says a local couple were awoke from their sleep around 6 o’clock by the sounding of the carbon monoxide alarms.
Fire crews responded and found dangerous levels of CO.
The family stayed warm in their vehicle while the Fire Service and Union Gas investigated.
Officials stress that the couple may have become seriously ill or even died, if overcome by high levels of CO.
