Careless Hunting Results in Hefty Fine

Three Vermont men have been charged with careless hunting after
shooting a couple of deer in the Kenora area.
This past October, the 3-hunters were traveling near the Minaki
Highway, when they spotted a deer in a field.
They stopped and 2-men got out of the truck and shot across the road at
the deer.
They went into the field, which was private property, saw another
buck and killed it as well.
Each man has been fined $2,500 and they have been banned
from hunting in Ontario for 1-year.
Their guns and the deer were also forfeited to the Crown.
