Cariou Optimistic About Winter Tourism

The Sunset Country Travel Association says it’s seen a dramatic
increase in inquiries since the Christmas holidays.
Executive Director Gerry Cariou is predicting a strong year for
tourism in the region, despite the high Canadian dollar.
Cariou is getting ready for the annual sports show season in
the United States and plans to attend 9-events over the next 3 months.
