Expect an increased police presence in area parks this Summer.
Dryden Police Chief Rob Davis says he’s beefing up patrols as the result of a sudden increase in vandalism cases at Rotary Park, Johnston Park and Sandy Beach.
Police have investigated 29-cases of mischief this year, compared to 14 at the same time last year.
Davis is also upset that someone recently targeted the Cenotaph at Ctiy Hall.
Davis says he has no leads on any of the cases right now.
Anyone with information on any of the cases is asked to contact Dryden Police or Crime Stoppers.
