Cash for Dryden Legion

The Royal Canadian Legion in Dryden has received an anniversary
present from the City.
Council has approved a $2,000 tax break for the Legion.
Officials approached the City for relief in order to keep the doors
open year round.
Dryden Branch #63 will celebrate its 80th anniversary at a special
dinner and dance Saturday evening.
The Legion will also recognize the 105th year of the Victoria Cross
and the 60th anniversary of the War Bride.
The event starts at 5 and is open to the public.
