Cat Lake Man Charged for Assaulting Officer

A disturbance at the CIBC in Sioux Lookout has resulted in the arrest of a 40-year-old man.
OPP received a report of an intoxicated man at the bank on Front Street.
Officers were about to place the man in handcuffs when he became violent.
OPP say one officer was assaulted but was not seriously injured.
Police say Hartly Wesley of Cat Lake has been charged with 1-count of assaulting police with the intent to resist arrest.
