Cat Lake Woman Arrested in Kenora

A 36-year-old woman from Cat Lake First Nation has been arrested in connection with an assault in downtown Kenora.
Police and paramedics were called to an Apartment Complex after a 39-year-old woman sustained head wounds.
She was taken to hospital and later released.
Police say a day later, Doris Loon was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.
Loon remains in custody.
