Catholic Board Approves Budget 2

Cuts have been made to computers, resources and program development funding in
order to balance the books of the Northwest District Catholic School Board.
The Board has approved the 2007 budget, although $1.1-million had to be taken out of reserves.
Director of Education Mary-Catherine Kelly says they felt the pinch
this year.

n051 runs: 18 sec. out…this year.

Kelly says the deficit is due in part to a decline in several
Provincial grants and a drop in enrolment of 80-students.
