The Northwest Catholic District School Board is going high tech!
The Board has approved its 2011-2013 strategic plan and Superintendent of Education Al Cesiunas says each classroom in every school will have SMART Board technology by the end of this school year.
Cesiunas says the next 3-year technical project is looking at placing I-Pad’s in each classroom of every school.
Cesiunas adds another strategy is implementing aboriginal learning in the curriculum.
Improving numeracy and literacy skills and ensuring a smooth transition to Grade 9 are other priorities.
