Catholic School Best Start

The Northwest District Catholic School Board is jumping on board with
the Province’s Best Start Child Care plan.
Trustees are looking at creating daycare spaces at St. Joseph’s
School in Dryden and St. Michael’s School in Fort Frances.
Superintendent of Business Chris Howarth says the next step is to
work on facility upgrades.
Howarth says they hope to award the construction contract in early
spring and have the daycare spaces ready by the end of October next year.
He says their goal is create 44 day care spots in Dryden and 22
in Fort Frances.
