The Northwest Catholic District School Board is out with a balanced budget, with revenues and expenditures totaling more then $16.5-million.
The Board is using $643,000 out of classroom reserves to balance the books.
Director of Education Mary-Catherine Kelly says they were able to do so, despite a number of challenges that stood in their way.
Textbook and classroom expenditures will decrease by $6,000 in response to a grant reduction of $151,000.
The Board also saw transportation funding drop by $122,000.
The document includes $150,000 to equip 17-classrooms with the smart board technology.
The Board will meet Provincial Class Size regulations with a projected 20-students per one teacher.
The budget will be voted on June 20th.
