There were also several accomplishments for the Northwest Catholic District School Board.
Education Director Mary Catherine Kelly says she was pleased to see students and staff take an increased interest in social justice issues.
She adds that these help develop the student’s faith and their catholic virtues, which is part of their religious education and family life programs.
Kelly says they’ve also been able to expand smartboard technology, including a recent expansion of iPads to students in the intermediate grades.
