Cause of Fire Determined

An overheated tire is believed to be the cause of last week’s
transport fire on Highway 17, west of Dryden.
The blaze forced the closure of the Trans-Canada for about 6 hours
due to the intense heat, smoke and flames.
The driver was able to detach the trailer before it spread to the cab,
The moving van was transporting furniture and other household items to
Edmonton.
