Cautiously optomistic

The threat of closure still hangs over the Atikokan Generating
Station but town officials remain hopeful.
The Atikokan & Thunder Bay coal fired facilities are due to close next
year but Mayor Dennis Brown says that may not happen.
He thinks it would be more realistic to look at a closing in
2010 & he vows to continue to fight to find alternate fuel sourses which
would allow the facility to remain online well past any closure target.
